Year: 2021

I like to start a new year creating a list of goals for myself. 2021 I wanted to learn new techniques, and participate in 3 workshops. Skillshare sent me an email to participate in their new style of live workshop using both pre-recorded video and live weekly lectures. This was a four-week, immersive course on Vector Illustration for Merch. The objective was to create merch for a music festival that encouraged pet adoption. I decided to combine an illustration of a dog with iconic make up from different styles of Rock music. The base print would be screen printed before the festival and the consumer could choose the style they preferred. This would allow them to be a part of the printing process and have a unique print that felt more tailored to their taste.
